World Class Interdisciplinary
Pain Rehabilitation Program
Right here in the Mid-South.
We are proud to operate the only CARF-accredited Adult Outpatient Interdisciplinary Pain Rehabilitation Program (IPRP) in the Mid-South. Mays & Schnapp has continuously earned this recognition for more than 20 years.
Our program focuses on a team approach with physical therapists and physicians working closely together to create an individualized treatment plan to meet our patients’ unique needs.
Treatment includes:
Intensive physical therapy including manual therapy
Medication review
Interventional pain management
Psychological Therapy
Weekly meetings with the IPRP team, which includes the patient, physician, and physical therapist, to review and tweak your individualized plan
Program is customized for each patient
Most patients who are referred to an interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation program are diagnosed with:
Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome - chronic pain in the arm or leg from injury, surgery, stroke, or heart attack
Spondylosis - age-related wear and tear of the spinal disks causing back pain
Neuropathy - damage to the nerves that often cause weakness, numbness, and pain
