William Schnapp M.D. a graduate of White Station, Emory University and St. Matthew’s University of Medicine Grand Cayman, BWI completed his residency in Neurology from Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Florida. He completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship, University of Miami and is board certified in Neurology and Pain Medicine.

Healthcare Advocacy Fellowship — This one year program was funded as a grant through ASIPP and was designed to foster development of physician advocates in the field of Pain Medicine. I worked closely with Congressman Ed Whitfield and his staff on implementation of a national prescription drug monitoring database (NASPER), and scope of care concerns regarding midlevel providers performing interventional procedures. Selected for a scholarship to attend “The Fundamentals of Pain” by the American Pain Society in Austin, Texas. This course is designed to introduce residents and fellows to current topics regarding the diagnosis and management of pain disorders. March 2011
